U19 Discipline Lead 2024-25 (Men’s & Women’s Sculling)

The Role
To lead on the development and crew formation of the U19 Men’s & Women’s Sculling disciplines at training days, assessments, trials, camps, and competitions to deliver successful U19 World Championship standard crew(s) and a successful U19 Coupe de la Jeunesse Team in 2025.
  • Working closely with, and consulting regularly with, the club and school coaches of the U19 Sculling athletes and reporting directly to the Head Coach – Olympic Pathway.
  • Attendance at Discipline Lead meetings as required throughout the season, producing performance data for each Discipline and an annual Discipline report.
  • Sit on the U19 Sculling Selection Panel alongside the Olympic Transition Coach – U19s to U23s and the Independent Selector.

A bit about you
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about further developing performance sculling at U19 level in GB.

Essential Criteria
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Management experience in a performance environment
  • Experience of performance data handling
  • Experience of U19 or U23 international competition
What we offer
The role is a contractor position for the 2025 season until 30 September 2025, with remuneration and reasonable expenses covered by British Rowing.
